Check out Brest Wireless photo album for more infos

Update: I tested this last night. In fact the gain of this beautifull antenna
is around 17dB. Yes ! 17dB for a homemade antenna is pretty high, no ? I really like this stuff

Update 2: Please check other post for additionnal infos about homemade antennas

– Enjoy wireless at home ;)

This one is build w/ reused aluminium. This is simply a cornet with a little light in. I don’t have any plans to give you right now, because I don’t make this one

Jay : You must use a special RF cable, to connect this to a PCI card. Try googling with the keyword “pigtail”, you will find what you need

I dont have the measeurements for this ‘cone’ antenna but I guess it would be large to give 17db(i). The means of connecting to the cone would be similar to the
can antenna a 1/4 wave piece of wire soldered on to an N scocket, this would be placed in a position depending on the size of the horn or waveguide used to connect to the horn.

Just build a cantenna and put a horn on the front of it. The angles of the horn are not critical. Just don’t have them too wide.
