As usual, it really depends on your taste. For me this set lack a little of high bass, or low middle, and this can provide a ear distortion when it come to with some kind of music. I will say, that this speaker are really good on vocal (female), hight stuff like strings and so on. But have some trouble to play some music with lot of middle (Muse with lot of bass, hight and middle was the worst to test, mainly do to the way the filter works I think)

But I think you will have to pay 2 or times the price if you want something serious anyway. This set is really enjoyable and really a nice stuff for the price. Far better than first Jamo for example, or other stuff with the west-coast sound (which I hate so much).

I changed this for a pair of SBLabs which is a lot of more neutral. I will post a review soon I hope.

and just came across your page on the off chance which has ade me think about them a lot more and they really do not seem to be that expensive.

they are to go with my denon amp.
so shall i take the plunge.
not sure as i like my music just as much and you did not seem to keen on this.
so am i back to square one.
